We are delighted that the Garden City Court Care Home in Letchworth has been recognised as 20 of the top rated care homes in the East of England in the carehome.co.uk 2022 Top 20 Care Home Awards.

This is based on reviews from residents and service users and their family and friends.

RDT worked with Quantum Care from concept though to construction for this award winning 75 bedroom dementia care home and day centre on a 2 acre former primary school redevelopment site in Letchworth.
The home was designed around a household model with public areas including, café, hairdressers, cinema and shop wrapping around a central courtyard garden.

The development also achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ accreditation.

RDT were awarded ‘Architect of the Year’ in Herts Building & Construction Awards and ‘SME of the Year’ in the Constructing Excellence Awards for this project as well as receiving a Commendation in Herts Association of Architects Awards.
