As RIBA Architect and Chairman of the Herts and Beds Constructing Excellence Club, Richard Tavener was delighted to be part of the Review Panel for the Year 2 Master of Architecture degree students at the University of Hertfordshire.

Four of the students presented their current projects at an interim stage before developing the design further.

Overall, Richard felt the presentations were of a very high standard and was interested to see such a diverse range of project briefs and challenges.

Richard is particularly keen to promote and help those looking for a career in the construction industry and the Herts & Beds CE Club will be holding a Construction Industry Skills focus event on 17th February with Mark Reynolds, CEO of Mace Group and Skills Leader for Construction Leadership Council talking about the CLC ‘Industry Skills Plan for the UK Construction Sector’ and representatives for UCSA and Bedford College Group.
