Clubhouse for Harpenden Common GC with bars and dining on two levels, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a balcony and terrace providing spectacular and uninterrupted views of the course.

 

RDT provided architectural and engineering services for this new Clubhouse which is positioned in a green belt and local conservation area.

 

Full planning consent was granted at committee following detailed negotiation with key stakeholders and St. Albans District Council for this sensitive development.

 

RDT Architects received a Civic Award for the design of the Clubhouse, which they felt was sympathetic to this green belt area and it was shortlisted for an Herts Assoc of Architects Award.
