A Night to Celebrate and Appreciate at OneYMCA's Gala Dinner

Richard and Marion were pleased to host a Herts & Beds Constructing Excellence Club table at this wonderful event at Shendish Manor Hotel & Golf Club alongside other committee members Mary Sykes for Herts Chamber of Commerce, Lauren Murkin and Andrew Slade from Oaklands College, Rachel Legood from Herts Building Control, James Bisco from Ashe Group and Claire Newbury from Vincent + Gorbing.

The Club has been supporting the amazing work of the charity this year in providing essential services to the community, including youth development programmes, housing support, and health and wellness initiatives.

The interaction made for a fun evening, but we must not forget what the event was all about. There were some thought-provoking presentations and videos showing the brilliant work of One YMCA and Dignify - their efforts in empowering young people, offering safe and affordable housing, and promoting healthy living were truly inspiring.

We were pleased to learn that £13,000 was raised through the event and would like to thank Peter Hopkins and everyone at OneYMCA for making this such a special evening. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces amongst the many guests, as well as Sam Weightman Donna Lawrie, Jo McCreery, and Portia Rohm from OneYMCA.
