We're thrilled to share a significant moment in our latest project! Last Friday, the team at RDT Architects attended a memorable topping out ceremony at Furzewood Lodge Care Home in South Oxhey, hosted by Kori Construction Limited.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from Hertfordshire County Council, local councillors, community members, and our dedicated consultant team, featuring Ashden Limited, RDT Architects, and Scott White and Hookins.

Furzewood Lodge is set to become a state-of-the-art care home for 75 residents, designed with a focus on sustainability and the residents' experience. The home will feature a fully electric energy solution, utilising PV panels and air source heat pump technology. Thoughtful design ensures garden access at every level, providing residents with a seamless connection to the outdoors.

Our Managing Director, Cheten Chauhan, along with Chris Young and Stephen Travis, were fortunate to attend the event where the positive feedback reaffirmed our commitment to our core mission: to listen, collaborate, and problem-solve, pushing the boundaries to consistently deliver meaningful results.
