Building Opportunities Luton

Marion attended the recent Building Opportunities Luton event, hosted by Luton Borough Council at our new offices in Luton.

The session brought together a fantastic mix of speakers and local insight, including updates from London Luton Airport and Luton Rising on the exciting new developments in and around the airport, Luton BC about planned investment in town-centre development, Willmott Dixon on their education work across Luton, Capital Sky Ltd on being a local construction company working on both the prestigious Power Court and Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa projects and Glencar on social value and their work within the area.

In the afternoon, attendees took part in a practical bid-writing workshop with Chris Wagner MCIPS from Go4Growth, offering valuable guidance on how businesses can strengthen their approach to tendering and future opportunities.

It was a really useful and informative session, giving us plenty to take away as we continue to build our presence in Luton and look ahead to supporting future development work that benefits the local community and investors in Luton.
