Celebrating Neurodiversity: A Big Thank You to Sam from Altro!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sam Udeshi from Altro for coming into RDT to present their inspiring CPD on Neurodiversity.

The session covered the range and types of neurodiverse learning differences, highlighting that 1 in 100 people are diagnosed with autism, but many more remain undiagnosed.

Neurodiversity includes conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and Tourette syndrome. Each condition brings unique strengths and challenges. For instance, individuals with ADHD often excel in areas like pattern recognition, attention to detail, and creative thinking.

At RDT, we are committed to designing environments that support a range of neurodiverse differences.

We are looking forward to two further CPDs next year on designing for dementia and designing for inclusivity.
