Construction Industry Skills Plan - 17/02
15/02/2022
With the Herts & Beds CE Club focus on education, there will be some interesting discussions and conversations about the skills shortages, local courses on offer and how we can make a difference in Herts and Beds.
Speakers from Construction Leadership Council/CEO of Mace, University Campus St Albans (UCSA) and @BedfordCollegeGroup talking about their new MMC facility.
This is one not to be missed and will be virtually hosted by Hertfordshire Building Control with our own Richard Tavener, Chairman of the Club, introducing the event and holding a brief AGM beforehand.
Mark Reynolds will discuss the new ‘Industry Skills Plan for the UK Construction Sector’. This plan sets out the key skills challenges facing construction and how they will be tackled with a series of clear actions and commitments for both industry and Government to help meet these challenges; careers, standards and qualifications, training, education and development, culture and working environment.
This is a virtual event and you can join us for our AGM at 3.00 pm to learn how the Club has been performing since it’s relaunch last year or for the main event at 3.30 pm.
