🐶❤️ Dogs Give Blood Too! ❤️🐶

A heartfelt reminder of why canine blood donation is so important.

After donating blood to the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), Suki, our Wellness Director at RDT, received this touching letter:

📝 “This is a message for Suki and her owners. Your donation of blood has meant our golden retriever, Alfie, is still with us and enjoying life almost to full again.

He was admitted to the QMHA on the 3rd of January with IMHA and was critical for the first two days. Suki gave him the strength to battle on, and after three transfusions, we finally got to bring him home.
Words can’t express our gratitude to you and Suki for your life-saving gift.”

This is why pet blood donation matters. Just like humans, dogs sometimes need urgent blood transfusions to survive. Thanks to incredible donors like Suki, Alfie got a second chance at life.
