Team Visit - Grove Road Care Home Open Day

The RDT team recently visited the newly completed Grove Road Care Home for Oakland Care, and it was a great opportunity to come together on site and see the outcome of a truly collaborative project.

Walking the building as a team reinforced how closely design, technical delivery and interior finishes have worked hand in hand to create spaces that support residents’ day to day experience. The finishes complement the spatial design beautifully, helping to create calm, legible environments that are welcoming and supportive – particularly for residents living with dementia.

Positive feedback from a local GP highlighted how well the dementia block functions in practice, with strong connections to outdoor areas, and opportunities for stimulation through movement and activity. It was rewarding for the whole team to see these ideas working exactly as intended.
