HC-One’s ‘Lifestyle Home’ in Milton Keynes

We were delighted to read the recent article about the new Applewood Care Home in The Care Home Environment Magazine!

This state-of-the-art, 78-bed care home for HC-One provides a luxurious and welcoming environment. The home features beautifully landscaped gardens with apple orchard, spacious lounges and dining areas, a bar, bistro, hair and beauty salon, cinema, library, and a private dining room for family celebrations.

Designed to support residential, nursing, and dementia care, Applewood embodies leading standards in dementia-friendly design, creating a calming, therapeutic environment where residents can feel truly at home.

The collaborative approach with HC-One’s development team and interior designers resulted in a thoughtfully designed internal environment. Focal destinations, abundant natural light and active spaces are seamlessly integrated with the surrounding landscape to enhance the residents’ experience.
