We are thrilled to share an update on the new 78-bed care home in Milton Keynes for HC-One.

Our Technical Director, Scott Smallwood, recently visited the site and was highly impressed with the exceptional progress made by Lawrence Baker Ltd.

"Internally, great strides are being made with plastering, tiling, and first fix nearly complete on the ground and first floors, and well underway on the upper levels. Externally, the final touches of façade tiling are almost finished, and a significant portion of the scaffolding has been removed, revealing the impressive structure beneath."

The Applewood Care Home promises luxurious communal amenities, including scenic gardens, spacious lounges and dining areas, a bar, bistro, hair and beauty salon, cinema, library, and a private dining space.

Scott also had the pleasure of meeting the dynamic project team: Richard Smith, Sarah Coley, Gordon Asher and Harry Flint from HC-One, Thorsten Wilcox from Lawrence Baker, Adrian Ball from Cheylesmore Estates, Terry Webster from Ashden Limited and James Way from Dixon Wright Building Consultants.

Scheduled for completion in late 2024, this will be HC-One’s second state-of-the-art facility in Milton Keynes.
