Inspire Neurocare Basingstoke – Finalist for Best Specialist/Dementia Care Design

We are delighted that our Inspire Neurocare Basingstoke project has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Healthcare Design Awards, recognised in the Best Specialist/Dementia Care Design category.

This purpose‑built 28‑bed specialist neurological care facility was designed to deliver truly personalised care for individuals living with complex neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and early‑onset dementia. Its design supports rehabilitation, long‑term care and respite through thoughtfully planned environments tailored to resident needs.

With state‑of‑the‑art therapy spaces, accessible en‑suite rooms, a therapy gym with advanced rehabilitation equipment, and a calm, supportive layout, the building stands as a centre of clinical excellence, compassion and specialist care. These design principles empower residents to regain independence and support their physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing.

We are incredibly proud to see this scheme recognised among only five shortlisted finalists, and Cheten Chauhan looks forward to celebrating at the awards ceremony alongside our valued partners Inspire Neurocare Christina Walsh Charity D., Alex Costa, Richard Clark, Petra Meinlova
