Herts & Beds CE Club’s Collaborative Networking Event

RDT was delighted to attend last week’s Herts & Beds Constructing Excellence Club networking breakfast at University of Hertfordshire.

It was fantastic to see such a vibrant mix of professionals from across the construction sector. The event was incredibly well-attended, with familiar faces and new members alike coming together to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and celebrate our achievements.

RDT are proud of the success of the Club this year as Richard Tavener is Chairman and Marion Clapp is responsible for organising events and membership. These voluntary roles have been invaluable in fostering relationships with the members and we are delighted the Club is such a dynamic community - dedicated to raising standards, sharing best practice, and driving innovation across Herts and Beds.

These events provide unique opportunities for professional growth, knowledge exchange, and supporting the next generation of talent.

Richard addressed the room saying “It’s been a fantastic year with record attendance, a boost in membership, and 10 of our members reaching the Finals of the Constructing Excellence National Awards - and together we’ve raised £3,800 for our Charity of the Year, One YMCA, making a real difference in our local community”. RDT helped contribute to this total through our Tough Mudder team effort and by organising a 10/10 charity walk at Ashridge, inviting HBCEC members to join us.
