International Day of Charity
The International Day of Charity was established to raise awareness and spread the word and provides a common platform for charity related activities all over the world.
The date was chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who received the Nobel Peace Prize for her work among the poor and dying.
The day is all about charity, or the act of giving back and also recognises the role of charity in alleviating humanitarian crises and human suffering within and among nations.
RDT have supported a number of charities over the years which have all made a difference or affected the lives of our team at one point or another and continue to support those closest to our hearts #GOSH #macmillan #alzheimerssociety #carersinhertsfordshire #shelter
