· Mary C. Sykes BA, MCIPR FRSA 🇨🇦 🇬🇧 Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce contributes her expertise to the committee and bridges connections with the Chamber

· Richard Tavener RDT Architects is Chair of the Club and plays a pivotal role in setting the Club’s agenda.

The Herts & Beds Constructing Excellence Club is The CPD Certification Service accredited, offering top-quality speakers and project tours to its members together with social and networking opportunities.

Activities including a social networking breakfast, HBCEC Awards, tour of BRE and the oversubscribed Stevenage regeneration tour, indicate our commitment to fostering connections and staying updated on industry developments.

Our upcoming event Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Stevenage from 8.30-11.00 am on Tuesday 14th November, featuring a presentation on Willmott Dixon’s net zero strategy followed by a tour of the new IET building, promises to be informative and insightful.

Our end of year breakfast at Pitcher & Piano, Hitchin from 8.00 to 10.00 am on Thursday 30th November provides a relaxed setting for members to reflect on the year’s achievements.

The committee is actively engaged in promoting best practices, innovation, and networking within the construction industry in Herts and Beds and membership for 2024 is now open.
