Judging of the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2023 took place last week and Gold Care Homes team were presented with the finalists trophy for Best Architectural Design of a Care Home together with a cheque from Pinders for the Alzheimer's Society, the nominated charity to benefit from the award submission.

The three judges, all experts in the field of care home design, were given a tour of the building by the operator Gold Care Homes, the owners of the building Hertfordshire County Council, RDT Architects and Project Managers Aedifice Partnership.

They were able to see the layout of the building as well as the extensive outdoor areas and how this design provides flexibility, comfort and choice for it’s residents.
