RDT Architects Celebrate Completion of Dudbrook House Care Home

RDT are delighted to announce the successful practical completion of this new care home in Brentwood which realises the vision of St. Michaels Homes for a new modern facility set within the natural landscape setting of the site.

Working collaboratively with @HorizonConstruction(London) and the care home operator, St. Michaels Homes, RDT brought their values for problem solving and attention to detail to deliver a technical architectural solution within the cost constraints of the project whilst ensuring the client’s vision was realised.

RDT were appointed post tender and worked closely with the construction team to rationalise the design of the basement and superstructure design and also worked with the client to evolve the initial design of the care home to reflect their current operational requirements.

Our teams expertise in using Revit software enabled the reinforced insitu concrete basement, steel frame and traditional construction elements to be fully co-ordinated and developed alongside the mechanical and electrical design. It also enabled the client to make key design decisions within the 3D design environment.
We are now looking forward to working with St. Michaels Homes on the next phase of the development at Dudbrook Hall.
