The Sun is Shining on our Teams Visit to the New Care Home Facility in Watford

We are thrilled to announce practical completion of a fantastic new care home for Hertfordshire County Council operated by Quantum Care.

Our Construction Director, Chris Young, Technical Director Scott Smallwood, and Jasmin Virdee and Lewis Grace from our Planning Team recently visited the facility. They were delighted to see that the constructed design perfectly aligns with the client's vision for a modern, sustainable, and welcoming care home.

Furze Wood Lodge is a state-of-the-art care home designed to accommodate 75 residents, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and enhancing the residents' experience. The facility features a fully electric energy solution, incorporating photovoltaic panels and air source heat pump technology. Thoughtful design ensures garden access at every level, creating a seamless connection to the outdoors for all residents.

We are proud to have collaborated with main contractor Kori Construction Limited and project partners Ashden Limited and SWH on this transformative community building for Hertfordshire County Council.

This has been a rewarding project for our team who have been involved from conceptual design and planning through to detailed design and construction, acting as the lead architect on behalf of the client and we are hopeful that this facility will win many awards - watch this space!
