The project received a Harpenden Society award for it’s design and appearance which is in keeping with the rural surroundings.

RDT provided both architectural and engineering services for the new Clubhouse which is positioned in a green belt and local conservation area.

Full planning consent was granted at committee following detailed negotiation with key stakeholders and St. Albans City and District Council for this sensitive development.

The Clubhouse was built on the same plot as the old clubhouse so it retains the unique and dramatic position overlooking the 18th green.

There are bars and dining on two levels both with floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony and terrace providing spectacular and uninterrupted views of the course.
