Visible Progress at Harpenden Care Home!

RDT Architects are excited to share the latest developments on the 75-bed care home in Harpenden for Oakland Care.

With most of the scaffolding now removed, the architectural design elements and detailed brickwork facades are clearly visible, showcasing the quality and attention to detail that define this project.

Our collaborative approach with Oakland Care’s operations team and the contractor Building Construction Partnership Ltd continues to ensure a design process focused on clarity, precision, and buildability.

Inside, significant progress is being made: plasterboarding is nearing completion throughout the building, and internal fit-out works are advancing steadily. The site is looking fantastic, reflecting the impressive progress achieved so far.

This project exemplifies teamwork, with significant contributions from Coast Consulting Engineers, Royston Jones Ltd, Core and Aedifice Partnership Project Managers. Together, we are setting new standards in care home design, blending comfort, sustainability, and community integration.
