RDT Team Visit: Hertfordshire Police HQ

The RDT team recently joined the Herts & Beds CE Club for a fantastic tour of the new Hertfordshire Police HQ in Welwyn Garden City.

Hosted by Hertfordshire Constabulary, Willmott Dixon, and Vincent + Gorbing, we saw first-hand how modern design and collaborative construction are shaping the future of policing.

Highlights included the impressive five-storey building, targeting top sustainability and wellbeing standards, with flexible workspaces, a glazed atrium, and a striking timber roof. We learned about the importance of teamwork, safety, and environmental credentials in delivering such a complex public sector project.

Thanks to our hosts for an inspiring visit and we look forward to seeing the HQ completed in Summer 2026 and its positive impact on the community.
