We’re thrilled to announce the commencement of construction on a modern three-storey, 70-bedroom care home for Avante Care & Support in Westgate-on-Sea.

This state-of-the-art facility is designed to offer first-class amenities, catering to the current and future needs of its residents.

In partnership with specialist care home contractor Lawrence Baker and project managers Ridge and Partners, RDT Architects have been involved in the full project journey from the feasibility stage right through to construction.

Early on-site progress is impressive. The sheet pile retaining wall on the east side has been installed to manage the challenging gradient, establishing levels for access roads and the building’s foundation. Trenches are being prepared for pouring the foundations, followed by the construction of substructure walls and the installation of ground floor precast concrete planks.

Completion scheduled for the end of 2025.
