RDT Architects are working with main contractor Kori Construction Limited on this exceptional 75 bedroom care home in South Oxhey for Hertfordshire County Council.

The care home forms part of a 2 acre land parcel of the former Little Furze Primary School which also provides 70 residential homes and apartments.

RDT Architects have been involved from project inception with Herts County Council through the feasibility and planning stages for the site. The project has now progressed through the design and RDT Architects have been novated to Kori Construction for the construction stage, whilst retained by Herts CC as a client advisory consultant.

Effective communication and collaboration with Kori Construction and Scott White and Hookins achieved smooth transition from planning stage to construction, delivering information in 3D BIM compliant format. This innovative approach streamlines the design process, enhances visualisation and minimises potential conflicts, resulting in projects that embody efficiency and precision.
